Archives Search Portal
The Archives Search Portal is powered by the open source software Access to Memory (AtoM). In 2023 through 2024, data was migrated from the archives content management system Archon to AtoM. The data migrated finding aids, images, accessions, and subject headings.
Finding Aids in Archives Search Portal
The finding aids in the Archives Search Portal point to physical objects held in University Archives. If there are any individual digital objects associated with the collection, the digital objects will display in the image carousel. Only a very small portion of the 5-7 million records held in University Archives are digitized and available online.
University Archives records
Finding aids in the Archives Search Portal represent those records that have been fully processed with full description created. There are many other records in Archives not represented here, including records of Academic Affairs, the president, most academic departments, and academic schools and colleges. As records are processed, the finding aids will appear in the Archives Search Portal
In addition, the images available through the Archives Search Portal are just a small number of all images held in University Archives. University Archives holds hundreds of thousands of unpublished images as photographic prints, slides, and negatives.
Please contact the University Archives with any questions about what records exist and how they can be accessed by email or by telephone at (320) 308-4753.
